Job Description
- Supervise and manage day-to-day activities to meet the schedule, quality, and safety objectives
- Assist the Operations Manager in managing the staff and workplace
- Implement and oversee safe practices at the workplace
- Handle manpower issues including duty roster, work permit, vaccinations and accommodation
- Liaise with customer and prepare necessary reports as requested
- Monitor materials and inventory on site to ensure that the staff are equipped with the necessary PPE and gear
- Location: Pasir Panjang Port Terminal
Job requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in the specific port-handling operations
- Able to work shifts and weekends
- Effective people-manager with a positive attitude
- Good command of written and spoken English and preferably one more spoken language
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
